igot's 1830 Directory was originally produced as a single publication covering the whole country. Over the years many copies became disbound and pages were lost. We obtained a re-bound copy of the pages for the counties of Norfolk and Northamptonshire (including the maps). This accounts for the page numbers being 527 to 632, rather than starting at 1.

This is a large and detailed directory of almost 1,000 pages covering the whole of Northamptonshire, including a History of the Diocese of Peterborough. As is often the case, the map produced for sale with the directory is not present. Excluding the Preface etc., page numbers start at 11 rather than 1. There are no missing pages so this is a feature of the original book.
Some pages suffer from warping and ink bleed/fading but all of the text is legible.
The directory comprises: Seats & Residences of the Nobility & Gentry; General History of Britain; History of Northamptonshire; Gazetteers & Directories of the cities, towns & parishes of each Hundred of the County.

This directory arrived in the most awful state imaginable. However on inspection there are only 2 pages missing. A few of the pages are cut, eaten or just mutilated - but the remainder, about 95% of the book are in fairly good condition. Below are some examples of the book before & after we have scanned.
