North Tynedale 1902

North Tynedale 1902

Ref: OIM013

One Inch Sheet 13 North Tynedale 1902 - published 1998; introduction by Robert Forsythe

This One Inch Ordnance Survey map covers a rural part of west Northumberland, with the North Tyne winding through it. The North British Railway is nearby, with the Wansbeck Branch joining it at Redesmouth Junction. On the reverse is a large scale detailed map of Bellingham, including station, workhouse, Town Hall and St Cuthbert's church; a directory for Bellingham is also included.

It is not possible to list the many hamlets, farmsteads and other topographical features shown on these maps. However, you may find it useful if we list the towns and principal villages or church parishes that are included on this map.
