Genes Reunited Printed Family tree chart

The Design and Print Process

Once we have your gedcom file we will check it for output errors on dates which can sometimes occur when the data is exported from Genes Reunited. We will also check to make sure the people in the tree are linked correctly.

We may need to ask you to correct some dates and relationships on the Genes Reunited website and resend your gedcom file.

We will then import your data into our charting software and produce a chart to the design layout you have chosen on the ordering page of the My History website.

We will create a chart and save it as a PDF file which we will email to you for approval. The PDF file may be viewed in any PDF viewer such as Adobe Reader.

When you receive the proof, this is an image of exactly what we are going to print on paper and send to you.*

Once we have your approval, we will print the chart and despatch it to you.

*If you wish to make changes to your data at this stage and resubmit a fresh gedcom file or you would like to change the chart design to incorporate more people from your file then we will need to quote you for the extra work/changes.
