This newly updated version of this incredibly popular index now contains 18 milllion entries. That is 5 million more than edition 2.

This third edition includes the 5.4 million burials from the first edition, 7.7m from the second edition plus a further 5m to bring the total to over 18m records. There are many more parishes registers covered for England and Wales from 1538 onwards. It is still not a complete index to all burials, but yet again represents an enormous effort by Family History Societies and Groups to make available a large amount of information easily searchable in your own home. The National Burial Index, known as the NBI, is quality British data at an affordable price.

The new version is now supplied as a single CD that installs onto the hard drive of your PC.

Suitable for Windows 98 / XP / Vista and the recently released Windows 7.
