Kelly's Directory of Northumberland 1894

This book (Supplied as a CD) lists a good selection of Residents; Local Traders and offers plenty of towns information and social history for the county of Durham. The Residents; Towns & Villages and Commercial directories are all alphabetically listed for both areas. Also the city of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne has its own dedicated Street, Residents and Commercial directories. Also included on the CD are scanned copies of the original maps of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne and Northumberland that have survived along with the book.

Anyone with an interest in Northumberland around the turn of the century will find this book useful for their research.

Some of the scanned pages appear not to be straight. This is a feature of the original book rather than the scanning process.
